wonders.
turning your head to bite the hand that feeds you.
in not so dramatic terms, turning around to bite the person that tries to be nice to you. why would people even wanna try to be nice to you anymore?
psychology says people with mental disorders/depression tends to slip into deeper depression. because they lack the skill to communicate and be mentally healthy and react appropriately to situations. because they become a black hole to themselves, noone else wants to relate to them because they dun have the skill to, offending them as they go about. If we are angry in our responses, others will be reluctant to interact with us. If we bring “baggage” from past bad interactions to new relationships, we may be cynical, distrustful, and guarded in our exchanges with others. If we are positive, happy, and share openly with others, they will be more likely to communicate openly with us.
maybe to any of you in general, that's juz pure stating of common sense.. but i actually do like what i'm studying. in fact, i love what i'm studying. everything is applicable on life. school apart from exams is as though it's leading you on a journey of discovery of self and people around you, a journey of awareness (: i learnt that..
when you've mastered the art of hiding and avoiding your feelings, you usually find it hard to label emotions. Check
when in anxiety, you can decide to reduce anxiety by choosing to behave in a way that is exactly opposite to one's true feelings (reaction formation). hmm
you know, i've been thinking.
every response we make is actually a defense mechanism we adopt. maybe that's where Freudian went wrong. we'll always face intrapsychic conflict between the id, ego and superego. i mean, the id and ego will ALWAYS be contradicting itself.. so yeah. defense mechanism. it's pretty cool when you look at them and go "mmm, this sounds familiar.." x)

after months of struggling with a lousy phone whose buttons 7,8 and 9 doesnt work.. keith juz lent me a phone that now works and iz haha 987654321 times better than my own.. hmmm. thank God (:

you never know how important buttons like 7,8 and 9 are until you lose that function.. now i can text quickly instead of taking 30mins to compose a text message with "insert contact details > name > find alphabet" x) it was quite an experience though.

in human anatomy, the vertebrae column (spine or backbone) comprises of 24 vertebrae.
the major functions of the vertebral column are:
1) protection of the spinal cord
2) providing stiffening for the body and attachment for the pectoral and pelvic girdle and many other muscles.
3) providing motion for the human skeleton
4) transmitting body weight in walking and standing.
the development of the curvatures occurs as the supporting functions of the vertebral column in man—holding up the trunk, keeping the head erect, serving as an anchor for the extremities—are developed.
the spine plays a major role.
it forms the basic anatomical position of the axial skeleton to which everything else originates from. it makes the bulk of the body. any change in the axial skeleton will result in changes elsewhere be it bony landmarks or muscle attachments, resulting in the development of problems somewhere else. it's like a chain. a chain of reactions.
one needs to have a spine.
only then can he be able to hold his head up and have a platform for his body to function and do other stuffs.

Dear Beloved of God,
Because of Christ's Love, I pray for peace. Peace that passes all understanding. Peace that fills every corner of your home, ever corner of your heart, every corner of your life. I pray for comfort. Comfort that comes through the assurance of God’s great love for you. No matter what, no matter when, no matter why. No matter what you have done or will do, His love will always be there.
A love so powerful that He gave up his heavenly rights and position of power to become utterly vulnerable and totally dependent so that He would be able to say without a doubt that he understands fully what it means to not be able to meet all his needs through his own works.
I pray for the gift of earthly hands, feet and voices that bring tangible evidence to you of that great Love in practical ways.

after a flood of posts last tuesday..
i ran outta things to say x)
but seeing that a week has almost past since i last posted, here's smth for you to tink about and erm haha enlighten me if you can x)
well i was thinking about it.
let's go through this hypothetically (:
person A and person B are both Christians. say they're both actively serving God and loves God. now, A and B are tangled in a sticky situation against each other. and in the situation, they both start claiming God's promise that if God iz with them, who can be against them; and that the Holy Spirit iz with them to help them. BUT, problem iz God being constant in both A and B. and yet, A and B are against each other. who wins? who will God side?
does it go to the one who's stronger in faith?
or the one who wants it more? and fights for it more?
or iz the coin tossed and done according to chance?
so to the other, God did not show Himself true to him? but which God iz faithful all the time.. so the only person to fault iz the person himself? so they didnt ask enough and didnt fight for it enough? that's what i'm leaning towards now though.. hmmm.
food for thought.
if you're wondering why i suddenly thought of this, i suddenly outta the blue remembered an incident back in sec4 badminton. juz a few matches prior to my knee injury. and i rem vividly it was a match against PL x) we were almost neck to neck. and PL cheered that girl on with "the Lord's with you!". but.. the Lord's with me too! i wonder who got the win in the end...
i lost that time, but this time i will ask and fight to win.
oh, one more thing.
